Released 21 April 1991 and featuring 33 tracks on four CDs, “X¹” is the first official box set by Depeche Mode. Europe and North America did not see a release of this title as it was made and compiled exclusively for Japan. The limited edition CD box set consists of two parts, this is the first part and the second one is “X²”.
