Depeche Mode – The Singles 81>85

Released 26 October 1998, “The Singles 81>85” is the third compilation album issued in the UK (the fourth in the US) by Depeche Mode. It’s a remastered and repackaged version of “The Singles 81→85” from 1985 and features all the band’s 15 first singles, plus two additional tracks. About a month before this release, the following 21 singles were released as the compilation “The Singles 86>98”.

The release of “The Singles 81>85” coincided with that of the reissued home video “Some Great Videos 81>85”. Over the years, the compilation album has been re-released on CD several times.
