Catching Up With Depeche Mode

Originally released 11 November 1985, “Catching Up With Depeche Mode” is the second compilation album issued in the US by the boys from Basildon. The UK and Europe did not see an official release of this title, as it is the North American version of the equivalent European compilation “The Singles 81→85”. However, the track listing is different. The singles “Leave In Silence”, “Get The Balance Right!”, “Everything Counts”, and “People Are People” are omitted on this release. The reason being, is that they all appear on the 1984 US compilation “People Are People”. Instead, the tracks “Flexible“ and “Fly On The Windscreen“, are added on “Catching Up With Depeche Mode”.
